Step 1 - Accept Liability Waiver

Liability Release Waiver and Indemnification Agreement

I wish to participate in the Flight Across America celebration. I understand that my participation is strictly voluntary, and that I, as pilot-in-command of the aircraft, assume full responsibility for my plane and passengers. The Flight Across America only provides a suggested format to the celebration, which allows me as the pilot to create a flight plan that takes safety, weather conditions, weight & balance, airworthiness, and other safety issues into consideration. I understand that the Flight Across America is designed to bring positive national attention to aviation, to aviation's contribution to our nation's history and progress, and to honor the one-year anniversary of September 11, 2001.

In consideration for allowing me to register in the Flight Across America celebration, I hereby release the Flight Across America, together with all its volunteers, agents, employees, officers and directors, supporters, corporate sponsors and partnering corporations from any and all liability, claims and causes of action that may arise out of my voluntary participation in the Flight Across America.

I personally assume all risks associated with participation in the Flight Across America and further agree to indemnify the Flight Across America, its volunteers, agents, employees, officers and directors, supporters, corporate sponsors and partnering corporations against any and all liability, claims and causes of action that may arise out of my voluntary participation in the Flight Across America, including any claims made by others personal injury or property damage caused or allegedly caused by me in relation to my voluntary participation in the Flight Across America.

This Liability Release Waiver & Indemnity Agreement shall bind my heirs, personal representatives, assigns, and all members of my family, including any minors. I understand that this Liability Release Waiver & Indemnity Agreement is a contract and not a mere recital. I have read and understand this Liability Release Waiver & Indemnity Agreement in its entirety.
