Flights
At the heart of the Flight Across America are the flights taken by pilots
nationwide, forming a web and linking hundreds of
airports.
Tips
- Register your flights. It's important that pilots take to the
sky and exercise their freedom to fly. Help us present a positive image
of aviation by registering your flight beforehand here.
- Fly anywhere. While some pilots are choosing to fly across
the county, you can choose to fly wherever you want. You can even take
off and land from the same airport. The important thing is that you fly
and pre-register the flight here.
- Fly whenever. To help with organization, we encourage flights
to be flown in a window of time by region. However, this is not a
rule and you should register your flight(s) for the dates that are convenient
to you.
- Be creative! Do you fly as part of your business?
Register those flights as well as your own personal flights. Several air
show performers are registering their ferry flights. Student Pilot?
Register a training flight!
- Spread the word. Take advantage of the momentum Flight Across
America is generating and invite a reporter or local politician to fly along
with you. E-mail us and we'll provide you with information to distribute.
