Introduction

Hello,

Just a short note to let you know what is happening in Massachusetts.

Plans are in the process for the Mass Governor to present the State Flag in Boston. The media has been contacted and expect several TV, Radio and local papers to cover all the events.

"America's Home Town" Plymouth Airport (Alpha Flight School) PYM will be hosting a "Fly In" on Aug 31 & Sep. 1 for all the pilots in Mass to fly into Plymouth and sign a register. This register will be presented to the people of New York with the flag. Plans are in the process to have a picnic at the same time.

We are all working hard in just a short time to make this really mean something to the people of America. After all the first flight came from Boston Mass.

Being a Police Officer for 30+ years this has touched me close to my heart. I went to Drug School in New York City and made several friends there. My son is a Lt. on the Logan Airport Fire Department and is also a pilot. He will be involved in the flight to Boston to pick up the flag.

A lot of brother police and fire department personnel went to New York when they called for help. They received so much help that they had to tell us not to send anyone else because they had too many people.

"Flight Across America really hit us all close to home. The Massachusetts Flag being sent from "America's Home Town" is considered to be a great honor. I will forward more information as soon as it becomes available.
